June events

There’s a whole bunch of events coming up before the month is up, so if you’re interested to get involved in anyway – here’s what’s coming up in June:

14th June
First up – join the Inner London Ramblers on one of their evening strolls a 3mile route that takes in the Coal Line.

21st June - evening
For those who either live around Queens Road Peckham and want to find out more, come along to Blackbird Bakery to hear all out the project. There will also be some mapping taking place, with the crowdfunded feasibility study underway and the first activity is to do a whole bunch of mapping the options and possible benefits of the route. We want to understand how you experience the area at the moment, and how the Coal Line could help you. Come and share your experience of moving round the local neighbourhoods, how you get to work or school, and where you experience traffic/busy roads etc. Sign up to join here.

28th June – early evening
Then if you’re interested in the role and potential of crowdfunding in local development projects – come and join this early evening stroll of the route with us and the GLA Regeneration team who'll be sharing more about that part of the story.

There’s all sorts more in the pipeline thanks for amazing bunch of volunteers who are busy working up all sorts of ideas, but more on that soon.
